The role involves coordinating emergency responses, preparing for various hazards, and liaising with multiple agencies to ensure public safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating responses to multi-hazard emergencies and disasters
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness procedures and resources for county areas
  • Work with local responders and agencies to protect the public during changing weather conditions
  • Develop and conduct training programs for emergency response personnel
  • Coordinate activities of the Emergency Operations Center during exercises and events
  • Ensure 24/7 operational readiness of EOC communications and equipment
  • Coordinate volunteer support from various agencies and organizations
